  • Awards: Innovation Award (2011), Privacy Commissioner’s Award for Excellence (2014), Customer Service Award (2016)
  • Achievements:
    • Designed and launched a new library site and numerous digital collections on a SharePoint portal
    • Created and lead a training plan for the launch of a new organizational information management system
    • Organized and planned a library move
    • Dramatically raised the profile of the library by introducing knowledge management services, increasing our electronic collections, and gaining the library at seat at several committees

  • Responsibilities: Research, project coordination, liaising with international teams, assisting Canadian companies in finding international trade partners
  • Achievements:
    • Developed a report on the Canadian photonics sector that helped promote Canadian capabilities internationally
    • Created knowledge and information sharing tools including wiki pages that helped Commercial Officers stay informed of industry news and developments
    • Lead training sessions at regional offices

Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) (2007)

Title: IGLOO Librarian / Content Management Specialist

  • Responsibilities: Content management, Content acquisitions, partnership building, training, supervision, taxonomy development, library marketing
  • Achievements:
    • Dramatically increased library content from approximately 7000 documents from 26 content partners to 19,500 documents from 143 content partners
    • Revamped the student training process through the creation of an online training portal

Canadian Police College Library (2004-2005)

  • Responsibilities: Cataloguing & subject analysis, circulation services, preparation of reference tools such as annotated bibliographies
  • Achievements:
    • Conducted background research on intelligence-led policing that was used to shape programming for an international law enforcement conference
